The Town Hall of Tomares, in collaboration with ADECCO, offers eight free in-person courses of 10 hours to improve digital skills. Registrations are now open.

The Town Hall of Tomares has opened the registration period for a new edition of its free digital training programme. Eight in-person courses, each lasting 10 hours, will be held throughout July at the Professional Training Centre for Employment, located at Tomás Ybarra street, 2.

The initiative, driven alongside ADECCO, is part of the project 'Training for the Andalusian Citizenry in Basic Digital Skills', funded by the Digital Agency of Andalusia (ADA) and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan. The courses are aimed at those over 14 years old, with preference given to residents of Tomares.

Varied content for everyday life

The programme includes topics such as online learning, safe use of email, online procedures, legal aspects of cookies, advanced Excel handling, creating presentations with Canva, personal branding on Instagram, and managing Google tools (email, calendar, notes, and tasks).

The schedule will be in the morning, and each course will have a maximum of 15 places. The Town Hall indicates that these trainings aim to provide useful tools both personally and professionally, especially for students and the unemployed.

Continuity of a training commitment

This new offering continues a line that has already achieved notable success. Previously, the Town Hall and ADECCO conducted up to five editions of the course 'How to Apply Artificial Intelligence in Your Daily Life', with high participation. Now, the focus returns to basic digital skills so that residents can navigate an increasingly technological environment with ease.

Registrations can be made through the electronic headquarters of the Town Hall, at the Citizen Service office, or at the Local Development Agency. ADECCO will be responsible for forming the groups once the registration period has ended.

The courses will take place at the Professional Training Centre for Employment, located at Tomás Ybarra street, 2. Places are limited, so early registration is recommended.
