Editorial principles

Diario Sevillano is guided by the principles of professional journalism: truthfulness, independence, plurality and responsibility. Our goal is to report rigorously and in the service of the public interest.

Independence

We maintain a clear separation between news and opinion, and between editorial and advertising content. No political, commercial or other pressure conditions our editorial decisions.

Verification and sources

We check facts before publishing and cite sources whenever possible. We clearly distinguish verified facts from hypotheses or opinions.

Rectification

We acknowledge our mistakes and correct them according to our corrections policy.

Transparency about AI

When content has been assisted or generated with artificial intelligence tools, it is done under human editorial supervision and in accordance with this outlet's quality standards.
