The Tomares Fair 2026 will take place from September 2 to 6. The mayor, José María Soriano, supervises the setup of the venue and highlights a programme featuring performances by Siempre Así and Jaime Urrutia.

The Town Hall of Tomares is finalising preparations for its traditional Fair, which will be held from Wednesday, September 2 to Sunday, September 6. The mayor, José María Soriano, visited the fairgrounds on Friday, August 14, to oversee the assembly of the Municipal Tent, accompanied by the delegate for Major Festivals and municipal technicians.

“Everything is being prepared with great enthusiasm and attention to detail so that, once again, we can enjoy a Fair worthy of Tomares,” Soriano noted. The event, returning after the summer, aims to welcome neighbours and visitors “with open arms” for five days of festive atmosphere.

The programme includes concerts for all tastes: Siempre Así, the former leader of Gabinete Caligari, Jaime Urrutia, David Civera, Peterpunk & The Diablo Band, Belén de los Reyes, Agustele, the orchestras Sugar and Elegidos, and local artists Joaquín Pavón, Serva Labari and Ely Silva.

The fairground will feature 18 tents, including the Municipal one, distributed between Ricardo Torres Bombita and Finito de Triana streets. The Rice and Tent competitions, the Children's Gala, and the century-old Tombola of the Sacramental Brotherhood, the origin of the Fair, complete an offer that livens up from noon.

On Wednesday, the 2nd, Children's Day, the attractions will cost 2.5 euros from 7:00 PM. At 9:30 PM, the traditional Fish Dinner will take place with the Orchestra Elegidos, and at 10:30 PM, Joaquín Pavón will perform. The mayor will inaugurate the lighting at midnight alongside his government team.

Tomares has maintained its status as a pioneering fair in Spain since 2019, being free of noise from attractions after 10:00 PM, a measure to raise awareness for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Since 2022, it has also featured a Violet Point to ensure safe leisure spaces.
