The Town Hall of Sevilla la Nueva has organised a mobile unit to process ID cards and passports on Friday 31 July in the Plaza de los Arcos. It will be necessary to request an appointment in advance at the Local Police or by phone.

On Friday 31 July, residents of Sevilla la Nueva will be able to renew their ID cards or apply for passports without leaving the municipality. A mobile documentation issuing unit will be set up in the Plaza de los Arcos from 9:00 am, as reported by the Town Hall.

To access the service, it is essential to have an appointment, which can be arranged at the Local Police Office, located at Calle Golondrina, 4, or by calling 91 812 80 79. The Town Hall reminds that each document requires a separate appointment.

Fees and cash payment

The cost of the ID card is €12, while the passport costs €30. Both procedures must be paid in cash at the time of processing, as detailed by the Town Hall in a statement.

The Town Hall recommends bringing the exact amount to expedite the process. Other payment methods such as card or bizum will not be accepted.

Required documentation for each procedure

For ID card renewal, applicants must provide a recent colour photograph, with a white background and facing forward, without dark glasses. Additionally, the previous ID card must be presented, and in case of a change of address, a registration certificate issued within the last three months is required. If there has been a change in personal details, a birth certificate will also be necessary.

In case of loss or theft of the ID card, an additional photograph and a form to be filled out at the time will be required. For first registration, citizens must provide a photograph, the literal birth certificate (less than six months old), and the registration certificate (less than three months old). Minors under 14 must be accompanied by their father, mother, or legal guardian.

For the passport, adults only need their valid ID card and a current photograph. In the case of minors who already have an ID card, the family book or literal birth certificate is also required, and they must attend with both parents or those exercising parental authority. Minors under 14 without an ID card need a photograph, the literal birth certificate issued for the passport (valid for six months), and for renewals, the family book or birth certificate.

The Town Hall recommends checking the informative poster available on the municipal website to verify the exact documentation required for each case.

A service that avoids travel

This initiative aims to save time and hassle for residents, who will not have to travel to other towns to carry out these procedures. The mobile unit will be operational throughout the morning of Friday 31 July, and the Town Hall encourages people to request an appointment as soon as possible, as slots are limited.

Appointments can be arranged from Monday to Friday during office hours. For more information, interested parties can go to the Local Police or call the indicated phone number.
