Linde Material Handling Ibérica, based in Spain, will showcase a range of solutions to automate cargo and baggage transport at airports during GSE Expo 2026.
Linde Material Handling Ibérica, the Spanish subsidiary of the Linde Material Handling group, has announced its participation in the GSE Expo 2026 fair, which will be held from September 15 to 17 in Lisbon. The company will present a range of solutions aimed at streamlining ground logistics, a key link for flight punctuality and airport efficiency.
The firm, with a dense network of dealers and branches throughout the Iberian Peninsula, including the islands, arrives at this event at a time when global air traffic continues to recover to pre-pandemic levels and air cargo is growing at a steady pace. According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global air cargo volume is expected to increase by around 2.6% this year, prompting airports to review their logistical processes.

Among the innovations is the range of automated towing tractors Linde P120-P350, designed to move baggage and cargo convoys between different points in the airport. Safety is another key focus of the offering. The company will showcase the Linde Xi-Roadster, an electric truck designed to provide virtually unobstructed visibility during manoeuvres. For last-minute baggage, Linde MH will present the Linde W20, an electric platform vehicle that quickly transports baggage arriving in the final minutes before a flight closes. Its small turning radius facilitates manoeuvres in tight spaces and is available with load capacities of up to three tonnes and a towing capacity of six tonnes.
The proposal is completed with the series of manual towing tractors Linde P120-P350, developed to move heavy trailers between the terminal and the aircraft. Equipped with electric motors and three independent braking systems, they offer a versatile solution for the various needs of ground handling.
A connected fleet and a comprehensive solution
Beyond the vehicles, Linde Material Handling will present myLinde, a digital platform that allows for real-time fleet management, tracking the location of each vehicle, monitoring its usage, and controlling the battery charge status from a single control panel.
All models can be configured with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries developed by the company itself, which also supplies the chargers and offers a battery recycling service as part of a comprehensive solution. This proposal is complemented by a wide international network of technical support aimed at maximizing equipment availability and providing quick response times to airport operators, airlines, and handling companies.
