Presenter Eva González was one of the most elegant guests at her cousin's wedding, held at the Parish of Santa María de la Asunción in Mairena del Alcor. She wore a haute couture design by the Sevillian Nicolás Montenegro.

The presenter Eva González was once again the centre of attention this weekend, but not for a television event, rather for a very family-oriented celebration. She attended the wedding of one of her cousins in Mairena del Alcor, her hometown, and did so with a look that did not go unnoticed.

The ceremony took place at the Parish of Santa María de la Asunción, the same church where she married Cayetano Rivera years ago. For the occasion, Eva opted for an evening look with a distinctly sophisticated character.

An haute couture dress with Sevillian roots

The standout garment was a silk bambula dress designed by Nicolás Montenegro, a designer from Lantejuela (Seville) who has quickly made a name for himself in Spanish haute couture. The piece was notable for its handcrafted draping, created pleat by pleat, and an Italian sweetheart neckline.

The outfit was completed with a raglan cape made from the same fabric, adding movement and a majestic presence, ideal for a night ceremony. As accessories, Eva chose Aquazzura sandals and Ignacio Torres jewellery: diamond earrings with a central sapphire and an art deco ring.

The look, as usual, was coordinated by her stylist Antonia Payeras. Eva's choice was not only an aesthetic success but also a nod to local talent: both the presenter and the designer share Sevillian roots.

Nicolás Montenegro, the artisan conquering red carpets

The brand of Nicolás Montenegro has quickly become a reference in Andalusian fashion. His creations, characterised by a sophisticated and artisanal aesthetic, have dressed figures such as Nieves Álvarez during the New Year's Eve celebrations on TVE, or Cristina Castaño and Manuela Villena at the Goya Awards. They have also graced international red carpets such as those in Cannes and Venice.

For the residents of Mairena del Alcor, seeing Eva González wear a design by a Sevillian designer at a local wedding is a source of pride. The presenter, who never forgets her roots, shows that Andalusian fashion can shine in any context, even at an intimate celebration.

With this choice, Eva González reaffirms her personal style: elegant, without being ostentatious, but with a touch of sophistication that sets her apart. And in doing so, she highlights the work of the creators from her homeland. Who knows if at the next family wedding we will see another design from the new generation of Andalusian fashion.
