The most decorated club in national badminton faces a season of reconstruction after falling to Primera Oro. Alejandro Ramírez and Marta Molina will captain a renewed and austere team.

Badminton Rinconada, the most decorated club in national badminton, is not going through its best moment. The relegation to Primera Oro, the second category, was an unexpected blow that has forced the entity to completely reinvent itself. The competition will not start until January 1, an atypical schedule that will allow time to assimilate the changes.

The squad arrives very revamped. Alejandro Ramírez and Marta Molina take on the sporting leadership in a team where the inclusion of Indian player Andy Mayekar stands out. Sergio Cardador and Marta Rodríguez, who played in Extremadura, also return; Cardador replaces his brother Fran, who previously wore the Rinconada shirt. The Mammeri brothers, Tannina and Koceila, of Franco-Algerian origin, bring international experience.

The rest of the reinforcements will come from the club's training school, a talent pool that has produced great players for Spanish badminton. This commitment to the grassroots aims to ensure long-term sustainability.

Changes are also coming to the offices. Lolo Molina replaces Antonio Molina as sports director, while Ana Fernández takes over from Isabel Venteo as president. Both will, however, remain linked to the club in some way. The new board of directors is as follows: Ana Fernández García (president), José Ignacio León Galván (vice president), Andrés Villalba López (secretary general), Mª Carmen Fernández García (treasurer), and Manuel Molina López (sports director).

On the social front, the club maintains its commitment to inclusion and equality. The 'Badminton without Barriers' program will continue with the Municipal Foundation for People with Disabilities of La Rinconada, and this year the Association of Families for the Help of the Disabled (AFADI) joins. Anti-bullying workshops will also be promoted in local schools, and adult schools will be created to facilitate family reconciliation.

The promotion of badminton in schools will continue with the 'Fly Shuttle Fly' program. The club will also organise local tournaments and participate in federated calendars to project the image of the municipality.

The season in Primera Oro will be a test to measure the club's ability to react. The Rinconada fans, accustomed to great feats, hope that this setback will serve to come back stronger.
