The band Ángel Malherido filled El Abrazo with the greatest hits of José Luis Figuereo Franco. The tribute series continues on Thursdays with El Último de la Fila and Sabina.
The Multifunctional Venue El Abrazo in La Rinconada once again displayed a full house for the tribute to El Barrio, the musical project of José Luis Figuereo Franco. Around a thousand attendees gathered to enjoy the performance by the band Ángel Malherido, considered one of the best in the country for this repertoire.
From the first chords, the audience fully immersed themselves in a journey through the most emblematic songs of the Cádiz artist's discography. The hats and the voices in unison set the rhythm of an evening that featured the major hits that have established 'Selu' as one of the leading exponents of his style in Spain.
The show, which took place during a heatwave, allowed attendees to enjoy a night of rhythm and feeling. The organisers highlighted the festive atmosphere and the audience's enthusiasm, who jumped and danced throughout the performance.
A tribute series that continues in August
This concert adds to the tribute to Extremoduro held last week. The series will continue on Thursdays 20 and 27 August starting at 20:30, with tributes to El Último de la Fila and Joaquín Sabina, respectively, at the same venue in La Rinconada.
The event also featured a notable local touch in the management of the bar. The venue's bar was run by the team from Caseta 'El Cortijo de la Amistad', an initiative that supported the work of its members, who this year take on a very special role: they will portray King Gaspar in the Three Kings Parade of La Rinconada.
This cultural proposal adds to the summer programming of the municipality, consolidating La Rinconada as a reference point for musical leisure in the region. Interested parties can check the complete schedule on the official channels of the Town Hall.
