The XXIV Bienal de Flamenco in Seville will be sponsored by Unicaja. The event will take place from September 9 to October 5 with 72 performances, 52 new productions and 22 absolute premieres.

The City Council of Seville has reached a sponsorship agreement with Unicaja for the XXIV Bienal de Flamenco, which will be held from September 9 to October 5. The financial institution thus joins the most important cultural event in the city, which this year will offer 72 performances and 52 new productions.

A support that goes beyond the economic

The delegate for Tourism and Culture, Angie Moreno, highlighted that the agreement is not just a financial contribution, but represents an ally that shares the city’s objectives. "That an entity as significant as Unicaja decides to bet on us confirms that the work is well focused," she stated.

Moreno emphasized that the sponsorship will enhance the programming and the audience's experience. The Bienal, which celebrates 24 editions, is a global reference for flamenco and attracts visitors from all over the world.

Programming of the XXIV Bienal

This year's edition includes 22 absolute premieres, 24 unique nights and six matinees. Established flamenco figures will participate alongside new talents, in a commitment to innovation and tradition. The director of the Bienal, Luis Ybarra, explained that the success of the event depends on public-private collaboration and coordination with administrations and artists.

Ybarra noted that "betting on the Bienal is betting on a differential value, on a living heritage that tells where we come from and where we are going." The programming will take place in various venues across the city, such as the Theatre of Maestranza and the Auditorium of Cartuja.

Economic and cultural impact for Seville

The sponsorship from Unicaja also has an impact on the economic dynamism of the province. The territorial director of Unicaja in Western Andalusia, Javier Aguilera, pointed out that the collaboration contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage and promotes cultural activity in Seville. "The Bienal consolidates Seville as one of the main international hubs of flamenco," he affirmed.

For the people of Seville, the event represents an opportunity to enjoy high-level flamenco and participate in parallel activities. The Bienal also generates significant tourist returns, with visitors filling hotels and restaurants during its month-long duration.

Institutional collaboration and sponsorships

The Bienal is organized by the City Council of Seville, with the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía and the INAEM. In addition to Unicaja, the event is sponsored by the platform GetYourGuide. This network of support helps maintain the quality of the festival and its international projection.

Luis Ybarra highlighted that "strengthening the public-private relationship is as important as being in contact with other administrations." The collaboration model has consolidated as key to the growth of the event.

Tickets for the Bienal will go on sale soon, and high demand is expected. Fans will be able to check the complete programming on the official event website.
