The tenth edition of Noctaíra continues with 'Searching for Oz', the LOPE concert and the tragicomedy 'The William's' at the Castle, and a flamenco evening at the San Miguel Centre.
The cultural and tourist programme Noctaíra 2026 continues this week in Alcalá de Guadaíra with a varied offer that includes immersive theatre, live music, tragicomedy and flamenco. The initiative, which celebrates its tenth anniversary, has established itself as a summer reference in the province of Seville, attracting locals and visitors to the city's emblematic spaces.
Immersive premiere at the Dragon Park
This Tuesday sees the start of 'Searching for Oz', one of the new features of this edition. It is an immersive theatrical experience with groups of up to one hundred spectators, which will be performed every Tuesday in July and August at the Dragon Park. Tickets are free but require prior reservation through the municipal website entradas.alcaladeguadaira.es, available one week before each performance.
The delegate for Tourism and Culture, Christopher Rivas, has highlighted that “the proposals of Noctaíra for the summer nights attract audiences, with a varied and quality programme.” He also pointed out that “this week, in different venues, the public will enjoy a theatrical route, concert, theatre and flamenco.”
LOPE concert at the Castle
On Wednesday, July 15 at 22:30, the Castle of Alcalá will host the concert of LOPE, a duo formed by Lena de Amo and Pedro Ordóñez Eslava. Their proposal fuses jazz, blues and flamenco in a sound experience full of nuances. The event promises a magical night in one of the most prestigious locations in the town.
For theatre lovers, on Thursday, July 16 at the same time, the tragicomedy 'The William's' will take the stage at the Castle, presented by Cía. La Jabata Producciones. The play brings together three Shakespearean heroines who awaken in a limbo where they share their tragic stories between humour and emotion. Entry is free until capacity is reached.
Flamenco evening at the San Miguel Centre
On Friday, July 17 at 22:30, the terrace of the San Miguel Centre will be filled with rhythm with Arrabal en Vivo, an evening organised by the Peña Flamenca El Arrabal. It will be an intimate night where singing, guitar playing and feeling will take centre stage. Entry is also free until capacity is reached.
Noctaíra 2026 has become an unmissable event for the locals and for those coming from other parts of the province. The combination of historic spaces with quality cultural proposals makes each summer night an opportunity to enjoy art in a unique setting. The Town Hall encourages advance reservations for activities with limited capacity to avoid missing out.
For more information, interested parties can check the complete programme on the municipal website or on the social media of the Culture department. The event takes place every night, with free entry in most cases, guaranteeing a summer full of culture in Alcalá de Guadaíra.
