The scheduled performances for tonight in Alcalá de Guadaíra are changing venue and moving to the Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium due to the forecast of rain. Capacity will be limited until full.
The forecast of rain for the afternoon and evening of this Saturday has forced the shows of the White Night to be moved to the Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium. The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council made the decision in light of the weather warnings, as reported by the Culture delegate, Christopher Rivas.
The programme will kick off at 20:30 with dancer Laura Morales, who will perform the contemporary dance piece “A Duo”.
Half an hour later, at 21:00, the highlight of the evening will arrive: a joint concert by the Alcalá Music Band, with over 160 years of history, and the Musical Group Santísimo Cristo de la Bondad. Both groups will review a repertoire focused on film soundtracks.
“Due to the change of location, capacity is limited until full, as this decision had to be made following the announced rains for tonight,” explained Rivas.
The municipal Culture official emphasised that Alcalá is joining this initiative with dance, music, and cinema, and expressed hope that this will be the first of many editions where culture paves the way in the metropolitan area of Seville.
The move to the covered venue means that entry will close once the available capacity is reached, so residents wishing to attend are advised to arrive early. The event maintains the scheduled times and is held at the Riberas del Guadaíra Auditorium.
