Alcalá de Guadaíra's fairground will host a stop of the national burger competition from 10th to 13th September. Eight food trucks will compete for the public's prize and a professional jury.
During four days, from 10th to 13th September, the fairground in Alcalá de Guadaíra will become one of the venues for The Burger League, the national competition that aims to crown the best burger in the country. The event will combine food trucks, family activities, and live music in a format designed for all audiences.
The municipal delegate for Commerce and Youth, Paula Fuster, explained that the town has been chosen to host this competition and encouraged citizens to participate in this gastronomic event, which adds to the municipality's leisure agenda.
During the event, eight food trucks specialising in burgers will compete to win over the taste buds of the public and the jury. Each will offer an exclusive proposal that can be voted on through a digital system after each purchase. 70% of the votes will come from the attending public and 30% from a professional jury. On Sunday, the last day of the event, the winners will be announced live.
Outside of the competition, attendees can enjoy dessert food trucks, children's entertainment, and menus for the little ones, as well as live music performances and DJs. Entry to the venue will be free and open.
