The Town Hall of Las Cabezas de San Juan has opened the application period for the concession of the kiosks-bars in Juan Britto Park and in the Periurban Park El Ranchillo. The establishments can be operated for four years for the sale of drinks and food.
The Town Hall of Las Cabezas de San Juan has initiated the tender for the operation of two kiosks-bars located in two parks in the municipality. These are Juan Britto Park and the Periurban Park El Ranchillo, two of the busiest green areas in the locality, where a catering and leisure service is intended to be offered to residents.
The concession will last for four years and will allow the sale of drinks, ice creams, sweets, sandwiches, and other prepared food products. The aim, according to municipal sources, is to invigorate these public spaces and generate new entrepreneurial opportunities in the locality.
The first lot corresponds to the kiosk in Juan Britto Park, a newly constructed establishment with an area of 20 square meters. It has a bar area, kitchen-storage, and an accessible toilet, configuring a modern and functional space. The monthly fee for this lot is 201.38 euros, which amounts to an annual total of 2,416.56 euros, a figure that bidders can increase.
The second lot is the kiosk in the Periurban Park El Ranchillo, with a built area of 46.29 square meters. The facilities include a public service area, storage, kitchen, terrace with a wooden awning, and standard toilets, offering a space prepared to provide quality service in a natural environment. The set monthly fee is 208.94 euros, which equates to 2,507.28 euros annually, also subject to improvement.
Bids can be submitted until August 1, 2026, exclusively via electronic means through the Public Sector Contracting Platform. The Town Hall has reminded interested parties that they can visit municipal offices to resolve any questions regarding the procedure.
With this tender, the Town Council of Las Cabezas de San Juan seeks to enhance the public spaces of the municipality, promote economic activity, and offer new opportunities to local entrepreneurs. The opening of these establishments will expand the leisure and catering offer in the two main parks of the locality, improving the experience for residents and visitors throughout the year.
