The Childhood Council of La Algaba will be present at the IV Provincial Meeting of Local Childhood and Adolescence Councils, which will take place on November 7 and 8 in Camas.

The meeting will bring together children and adolescents from various municipalities in the province. Representatives from the Childhood Council of La Algaba will be able to share experiences, exchange ideas, and debate with their counterparts in a space designed for dialogue and reflection.

The event was presented this morning on October 13 at the City Hall of Camas, attended by the third deputy mayor of La Algaba, Lydia Gómez Torrecillas, along with the responsible technicians from the area. The meeting is promoted by the Department of Social Services, Family and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía.

The central theme of this fourth edition will be the following:

“Social pressure: affective relationships, sexual relationships, and digital disconnection”

According to the organization, the day aims to address issues that directly affect childhood and adolescence, promote healthy relationships, and discuss emotional well-being. The conscious and responsible use of digital technologies will also be addressed.

For the municipality, participation means bringing the voice of its youth to a provincial forum. The City Hall of La Algaba assures that with this initiative, it reinforces its commitment to the rights of children and adolescents, and to the spaces where young people express their opinions and contribute to society.
