Villanueva del Ariscal has officially launched its most significant festivities. The Announcement and Coronation of the Fair and 72nd Grape Harvest Festival brought together locals and visitors for a night of emotion and tradition, serving as a prelude to the municipality's grand days.
This year's announcer was Juan Carlos García Castaño, who was introduced by the announcer from the previous edition, José Antonio Bueno Mateo. Before the speech, the traditional coronation took place, where Rocío Limón Piedra was proclaimed Queen and Natalia Piedra Millán, Child Queen.
The event also included the presentation of the bracelet to the Child Lagarero, Jesús Prieto Ríos, and the handing over of the venencia to the Head Foreman, Ignacio García Limón. The ceremony was conducted by Enrique Castro Miguel, whose involvement with the festivities was once again appreciated by the organization.
After the most symbolic moments, music took over with a performance by Raya Real, which capped off an evening that heralds the imminent arrival of the Grape Harvest.
