Villanueva del Ariscal celebrated its traditional San Ginés Pilgrimage on the last Sunday of August, with the procession of the LXXII Grape Harvest Fair to the Sanctuary of Loreto.
The Sevillian town of Villanueva del Ariscal experienced one of the most anticipated events of its festive calendar on August 31, the San Ginés Pilgrimage 2026, which gathered locals and visitors in an atmosphere of devotion and tradition.
The procession of the LXXII Grape Harvest Fair accompanied the group to the Sanctuary of Loreto, where the fruits of the land were offered to the Virgin of Loreto, patroness of Aljarafe, on a day marked by the journey through the landscapes of the region.
The town's mayor, Curro García, led the group alongside members of the Municipal Corporation, who participated in the event to support one of the most deeply rooted popular expressions of the municipality.
After the visit to the sanctuary, the procession returned to the town and culminated with the traditional floral offering to the Immaculate Conception at the Hermitage of San Miguel, thus closing a day of community and faith.
The Villanueva del Ariscal Town Hall thanked the participation and collaboration of all those who made the day possible, with special mention to municipal workers, health personnel, the Local Police, and the Civil Guard.
