The elderly of Villanueva del Ariscal celebrated their traditional lunch at the Municipal Pavilion during the Fair and Grape Harvest Festival.

On Saturday, the Municipal Pavilion hosted the traditional communal lunch for the elderly, with the distribution of carnations and gifts.

On Saturday, during the Fair and LXXII Grape Harvest Festival, the elderly of Villanueva del Ariscal experienced their most anticipated annual event: the traditional communal lunch, held at the Municipal Pavilion. This activity has now been part of the municipality's major celebrations for four years.

The event served to recognise the legacy and affection that the older generations have contributed to these festivities. During the meal, members of the Cortejo presented attendees with carnations, while the Villanueva del Ariscal Town Hall gave a gift to each of those present.

The festive atmosphere, fun, and colour marked a day in which the elderly, who have dedicated much of their lives to keeping these celebrations alive, once again became the stars of the Fair.
