The Nuevo San José Stadium in Gines will be the venue this Friday, September 11 for a new edition of the San Ginés Football Trophy, an event that has become a classic at the end of summer in the town. The tournament, which is supported by the Gines Town Hall, will be held in a triangular format with the participation of three teams.
The senior team of Juventud Deportiva Gines will face Dingo Spot and Andalucía Este in a day that will serve as the official presentation of 'La Juve's' first team for the new season. It will be the team's debut in the municipality under the direction of the Gines club.
The triangular format means that each team will play two shorter matches, allowing all three teams to be seen in a single session. The matches will take place according to the following schedule: at 19:30 hours, Andalucía Este will kick off against Dingo Spot; at 20:30 hours, it will be JD Gines versus Dingo Spot; and at 21:30 hours, JD Gines will close the day against Andalucía Este.
Entry to the venue will be free until capacity is reached, according to municipal sources, and a good public turnout is expected to bid farewell to the sporting summer in Gines. The trophy is backed by the town hall, which collaborates in organizing the event.
