The fourth edition of the Una Pará Sack Race in Gines will take place on the night of Friday, October 2, with registrations starting from 01:30 hours and a maximum of 36 pairs.
The Sack Race of Una Pará in Gines celebrates its 4th edition with a change of date: the event will take place on the night of Friday, October 2, according to the rules published by the Gines Town Hall. The competition will start at 02:00 hours on the main track of La Pará.
Those interested can register on the same day of the event, starting from 01:30 hours, at the venue where the race will take place. The limit is set to a maximum of 36 pairs.
The competition is held in pairs. Each participant runs with half their body inside their sack from the starting line to the finish line, where they pass the baton to their partner to complete the same course in reverse.
The format includes three rounds of 12 pairs each. The top three pairs from each round qualify for the grand final, which will feature a total of 9 pairs.
There will be three prizes: a gift voucher for a trip for the first placed pair, a dinner for four for the second, and a prize of 100 euros for the third.
