The Huelva team triumphed in the triangular held on Friday at the Nuevo San José Stadium, where the Juventud Deportiva Gines presented their first team for the 2026-2027 season.

The Nuevo San José Stadium in Gines hosted the twenty-ninth edition of the San Ginés Trophy on Friday, a triangular tournament that brought together Dingo Sport from Lepe (Huelva), Andalucía Este from Seville capital, and the senior team of Juventud Deportiva Gines. The tournament was supported by the Ayuntamiento de Gines.

Dingo Sport took the title after winning both of their matches with the same score, 2-0. They first overcame Andalucía Este and then repeated the score against Juventud Deportiva Gines.

In the third match, Juventud Deportiva Gines and Andalucía Este drew 0-0, and the Seville team won in the penalty shootout. The final classification left Dingo Sport as champions, Andalucía Este as runners-up, and Juventud Deportiva Gines in third place.

The municipal sports delegate, Manuel Camino, and the club president, Ángel Bollo, presented the trophies to the captains of the three teams. The event also served as the official presentation of La Juve's first team for the 2026-2027 season.

The Gines team faces the new season with a very young squad, featuring many homegrown players trained at the club, aiming to return to Segunda division. The unveiling before their fans at the Nuevo San José was the final rehearsal before the league starts.
