Manuel Costales Vega, Juan José Negrón Díaz and José Antonio Campos Palomar will embody Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar on January 5, 2027. Paula Galindo Casas will be the Star of Illusion.
The Cultural Association of Friends of the Three Wise Men of Gines already has names for the 2027 procession. The voting took place last Friday at the Sacramental Brotherhood venue, with participation from board members of the entity, representatives from various community groups, and the Gines Town Hall.
The result established the three main figures. Manuel Costales Vega will portray King Melchor; Juan José Negrón Díaz will do the same for King Gaspar, and José Antonio Campos Palomar will embody King Baltasar. The Star of Illusion, responsible for opening the parade, will be Paula Galindo Casas.
The voting day also served to fill two other positions in the procession. Once the application deadline closed, a draw was held to select the Royal Herald and the Emir. The selected individuals were Alejandro Pérez Márquez and Álvaro Velasco Serrano, respectively.
With these appointments, the Three Wise Men Parade of Gines begins to take shape for the event on January 5, 2027. The organization is already working on preparations for a parade that winds through the town's streets each year and, in this edition, will once again involve community groups and residents.
