The Local Security Board, chaired by Mayor Lorenzo Medina and with the Government's subdelegate, Francisco Toscano, has designed a special plan for the festivities from September 8 to 13.

This morning, Friday, September 4, the Town Hall of Guillena hosted the Local Security Board to outline the device that will ensure safety during the Popular and Patronal Festivals, which will take place from September 8 to 13.

The meeting was chaired by Mayor Lorenzo Medina and included the presence of the subdelegate of the Government of Spain in Seville, Francisco Toscano, as well as representatives from the Civil Guard, the National Police assigned to the Autonomous Community, the Local Police, and the Councilor for Citizen Security, Manuel Jara.

The approved plan includes an increase in the number of Local Police and Civil Guard personnel, preventive traffic controls, and searches with specialized dogs to detect the possession of drugs and weapons. There will also be a focus on preventing the sale of alcohol to minors.

The Board has committed to maintaining coordination between the various administrations to ensure that the Fair proceeds smoothly and safely.
