The Tribute Dinner for the Elderly in Guillena returns to the Plaza de España on Sunday, September 6 starting at 22:00 hours. The evening will feature a performance by Fran Doblas, an event that has become one of the classic gatherings of the local festivities.
The dinner is part of the extensive festive programme that the municipality will experience between August 28 and September 13. During this period, the patron saint festivities in honour of Our Lady of Granada, the pre-fair, and the fair itself will take place.
The celebrations will kick off on August 28 with the Opening Speech, organised by the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Granada, and will conclude on September 8 with the double processional outing of the Patroness of the Villa. In this context, the Guillena Town Hall organises, collaborates, and participates in the pre-fair activities, which will take place from September 2 to 7.
The Guillena fair will be held from September 8 to 13, closing a festive calendar that combines religious tradition, community living, and leisure for all ages.
The event on September 6 is designed to recognise the contributions and role of the elderly in the municipality, in a festive outdoor atmosphere. The performance by Fran Doblas will provide the musical highlight to an evening expected to be very well attended.
