The Morón de la Frontera Town Hall has launched the Horizontal Signage Plan, which includes the repainting of nearly 400 pedestrian crossings across the city. The work, which has already started, focuses on areas with the highest traffic and around educational centres.
The initiative is funded through the Plan 107 of the Seville Provincial Council, with a total investment of €44,413.05. The work will gradually extend across all neighbourhoods of Morón, with the expectation of completion by the end of August.
The delegate for Citizen Security, Manuel Escalante, explained that the work is being carried out progressively, initially prioritising roads with the highest traffic intensity. Subsequently, work will continue around school areas and the rest of the neighbourhoods.
With this initiative, the Town Hall aims to enhance the visibility of signage and improve safety for both pedestrians and drivers. Escalante has called on all road users to act responsibly, reminding them of the importance of respecting pedestrian crossings and speed limits.
This action is part of the Council's commitment to maintaining public spaces in good condition and continuing to promote investments that improve the quality of life for citizens. Over the coming weeks, residents of Morón will see the horizontal signage being renewed on their streets, with special attention to the busiest areas.
