The La Algaba Town Hall has given the green light to the file to renovate three areas of the old town with an investment of €404,594.09. The works will last four months from their effective start.

The Town Hall of La Algaba has approved in the Local Government Board the contracting file for the second phase of the urban regeneration project of the historic centre. The action will have a budget of €404,594.09, financed by the Seville Provincial Council through the Provincial Plan '107'.

The works will affect Sevilla street, Rodríguez de la Borbolla street, and plaza de España. The council aims to improve the quality of these public spaces, make them more sustainable and accessible, and respect the historical and landscape identity of the municipality.

The next step is the tendering process. It will be carried out through a simplified open procedure, with the publication of the call and the necessary documentation for interested companies to submit their bids. The project sets an execution period of four months from the effective start of the works.

This second phase is part of a global project divided into several stages. The first corresponds to the Andalusian Government and has not yet begun. Meanwhile, the La Algaba Town Hall is still awaiting news on the start of those works.

For residents, the tendering marks the moment when the awarded companies and the start dates of the works in the centre will be known. The details of the call will be published on the public sector contracting platform.
