Pablo de Haro designs the poster for the Morón Fair 2026 with gold and natural pigments

The local artist Pablo de Haro has been tasked with creating the official image of the Morón Fair 2026, presented this Thursday at the Municipal Pavilion. The work incorporates burnished gold and natural pigments.

The Morón de la Frontera Fair 2026 now has an official image. The Town Hall presented this Thursday the promotional poster created by local artist Pablo de Haro, who was chosen by a jury that included the Association of Booth Owners.

The event, held at the Municipal Pavilion of the Multi-Purpose Space in the Alameda, was attended by the delegate for Major Festivals, Manuel Escalante; the artist himself, and Pedro Aranda, representing the association of booth owners.

During the presentation, Escalante congratulated the artist on his work and thanked the jury for their involvement in the selection. The delegate emphasized that, although summer is not yet over, the fair is already beginning to take shape with this first step.

Pablo de Haro, a professional gilder, explained that he wanted to convey the techniques of his trade in the work. To achieve this, he used burnished gold and natural pigments mixed with egg tempera, which gives the poster a handcrafted finish and great aesthetic richness.

The composition is inspired by the flag of Morón, reinterpreting its most representative elements. The blue and the white horse from the coat of arms are integrated into a fair shawl with golden details, while the rooster, the Castle, and the church of San Miguel complete the scene with the most recognizable symbols of the municipality.

The author expressed particular pride that his first work as a poster artist represents the fair of his city, highlighting the honour of contributing with his work to one of the most important traditions of Morón de la Frontera.

With this presentation, the Town Hall officially begins the promotion of the Morón Fair 2026, which will once again fill the Alameda with light, colour, and festive atmosphere. The exact date of the celebration will be announced in the coming months.
