The Estepa Town Hall has repaired the fence at CEIP Santa Teresa and is collaborating on the installation of a pergola and a mechanical platform at CEIP Ntra. Sra. de los Remedios as part of the Climate Adaptation Plan by the Junta.
The Estepa Town Hall has intensified its efforts in recent weeks to adapt and improve the educational centres in the locality to ensure everything is ready for the start of the academic year 2026-2027.
One of the most notable interventions has been the repair of the perimeter fence at CEIP Santa Teresa, which was damaged by storms several months ago. This work is complemented by cleaning and conditioning of the playgrounds and outdoor areas of the centre.
At CEIP Ntra. Sra. de los Remedios, the Town Hall is collaborating on the foundation work for the installation of a pergola that will create new shaded areas for students. This action is part of the Climate Adaptation Plan promoted by the Junta de Andalucía, and the Town Hall has also been responsible for drafting the technical project.
Meanwhile, work is currently underway to install a mechanical platform that will facilitate access to classrooms for people with reduced mobility.
Through these interventions, the Estepa Town Hall aims to improve educational infrastructure and provide safer, more accessible, and comfortable spaces for the entire educational community before classes begin.
