The Utrera Town Hall has initiated a new phase of the Resurfacing Plan on the streets Mar Adriático and Escultor Antonio Susillo, where the pavement will be renewed. The works, which began yesterday, include parking and traffic restrictions.

The Utrera Resurfacing Plan has entered a new stage with the start of works on Mar Adriático street and plans to continue on Escultor Antonio Susillo street. The works, which started this Wednesday, are part of a municipal project aimed at renewing the pavement of the most deteriorated roads in the locality.

According to the Utrera Town Hall, the milling works on Mar Adriático street began yesterday and are expected to finish today, July 24. Following this, the workers will move to Escultor Antonio Susillo street, where milling will take place between July 27 and 30. The resurfacing of Mar Adriático street will be carried out on July 27 and 28, while that of Escultor Antonio Susillo street will take place on July 29 and 30. The expectation is that all works will conclude on July 31.

To ensure safety and minimise inconvenience, the Town Hall has installed informative signage on both roads, warning of the necessary parking and traffic restrictions during the works. Residents and drivers are advised to pay attention to the indications and seek alternative routes.

The delegate for Works and Infrastructure, José Antonio López León, has highlighted the importance of this plan: “We continue to advance in one of the most important improvement projects being executed in the city. Our goal is to progressively renew those streets that show the greatest deterioration, improving safety, comfort, and the image of Utrera.”

Once the works on these two streets are completed, the plan will continue with the milling and resurfacing of José Dorado Alé and General Giráldez avenues, where interventions have already been made on the roundabouts and medians. This new phase adds to the recent actions in the La Mulata neighbourhood, where several streets have already been completed.

The Utrera Resurfacing Plan is a municipal initiative that is developed in phases, prioritising the roads with the most wear. With this new stage, the Town Hall hopes to improve mobility and the quality of life for residents, reducing the risk of accidents and vehicle deterioration. The works are funded by the municipality and are carried out with in-house staff and contracted companies.

Residents of the affected streets have been informed in advance through the official channels of the Town Hall, and they are apologised to for the temporary inconveniences. The Town Hall is confident that, once completed, these improvements will benefit the entire community.
