The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has issued a warning to Seville fans regarding the detection of fraudulent websites offering tickets for the Spanish national team match against Croatia, scheduled for 29 September at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium. The RFEF has made it clear that tickets for this match, which is part of the group stage of the 2026-27 Nations League, are not yet on sale.
In a statement released through its official channels, the RFEF stated that the only valid tickets will be sold exclusively through the website tickets.rfef.es once the sale date is announced. The federation urges supporters not to purchase tickets from other platforms, as they could fall victim to phishing scams.
The Royal Football Federation of the Principality of Asturias (RFFPA) has also echoed the alert, confirming that fraudulent websites have been identified that are already offering tickets for Spain's matches both in Seville and Oviedo, where the team will face the Czech Republic on 3 October at the Carlos Tartiere. Both federations recommend maximum caution when interacting with unofficial sites.
“The RFEF wishes to clarify that tickets for the upcoming matches of the @SEFutbol in Seville and Oviedo are not yet on sale. Once announced, tickets will only be available at http://tickets.rfef.es,” the RFEF stated on its official 'X' account.
The match in Seville will be the first that the Spanish national team plays on home soil after being crowned world champions in the United States. Spain, which now displays the second star on its crest, will debut in the Nations League on 26 September at Wembley against England, and three days later will host Croatia at the Sánchez-Pizjuán at 20:45. The Seville venue will be the setting for the first match as hosts for the reigning world and European champions.
The record between Spain and Croatia is favourable to Luis de la Fuente's side, with seven wins, one draw, and three losses in eleven encounters. The last meeting, in the group stage of the European Championship, ended with a resounding 3-0 victory for Spain. Furthermore, the match in Seville will mark the twenty-sixth occasion that the national team has played at the Sevilla FC stadium; the last time was in March 2015, with a 1-0 victory against Ukraine in the Euro qualifying.
For Seville fans, the date of 29 September represents a unique opportunity to see the world champion team live. The RFEF reminds that any information regarding ticket sales will be communicated exclusively through its official channels and the website tickets.rfef.es. In the meantime, it is advised not to make any purchases on unverified websites and to report any suspicions of fraud to the relevant authorities.
The match against Croatia will be the second in the group stage of the Nations League, a competition that Spain won in 2023 and was the runner-up in 2025. After the match in Seville, the team will travel to Oviedo to face the Czech Republic on 3 October, also at 20:45, marking Spain's return to the Carlos Tartiere eleven years after their last visit, which ended in a 2-0 win against Slovakia.
