The Los Palacios and Villafranca Town Hall has opened the registration period for the Aula de la Experiencia, a training programme aimed at people over 50 years old who wish to continue learning in a university environment. The deadline will remain open until 28 February.
Interested individuals can formalise their registration at the General Registry of the Town Hall during public hours, or through the Town Hall's electronic headquarters. For more information, the Town Hall has provided the phone number 955 81 06 00.
The programme, promoted by the University of Seville in collaboration with the local council, offers a curriculum of subjects in humanities, social sciences, and health, among other areas. Classes will be held at the Centro Cultural La Mota starting in March.
The Education Delegation of the Town Hall highlights that the Aula de la Experiencia "promotes active ageing and social participation among the elderly in the municipality." In the previous edition, more than a hundred local students participated.
The councillor responsible for the area, Carmen María Molina, has encouraged residents to register: "It is a unique opportunity to continue training and share experiences in a university environment."
Interested parties must present their ID card, a passport-sized photograph, and the completed registration form. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
