The Clave DH programme launches its eighth call with 53 free and funded training pathways, most of which come with a Professional Certificate, in sectors such as logistics, healthcare, or renewable energies.
The Dos Hermanas City Council, through its Delegation of Economic Promotion and Innovation, has opened the application period for the eighth edition of Clave DH, a job training programme that will benefit 90 unemployed individuals from the municipality this time.
The initiative, led by the deputy mayor Carmen Gil Ortega, is co-financed by the European Social Fund + within the Employment, Education, Training and Social Economy Programme ÉFESO.
Interested individuals can submit their applications until October 5, 2026. The deadline ends at 14:00 hours if submitted in person at the municipal offices, and at 23:59 hours if processed through the Electronic Headquarters Registry.
The offer includes 53 free and funded training pathways, divided into two levels. The Level 1 courses, which have no prior academic requirements, are: Plumbing and domestic air conditioning operations (Edition II), Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens, and gardening centres, Basic catering operations, and Auxiliary operations in masonry of factories and roofs (Edition I).
For Level 2, which requires a secondary education diploma or equivalent, the courses offered are Social and healthcare assistance to dependent persons in social institutions (Edition II) and Driving heavy goods vehicles for road transport of goods (Edition II). In the latter case, in addition to the academic qualification, it is essential to have a driving licence B and to be at least 21 years old.
Three of the pathways (nurseries and gardens, catering, and masonry) are reserved for residents in disadvantaged urban areas included in the Local Intervention Plan in Disadvantaged Areas, within the ERACIS framework: Ibarburu, Costa del Sol, La Jarana, Miravalle, Los Montecillos, El Chaparral, and Cerro Blanco.
Classes will be held in person in Dos Hermanas and will start from November. The training combines theoretical and practical content, includes internships in companies, job orientation, and individual tutoring, and provides access to a scholarship during the course of the pathway. Most training actions lead to a Professional Certificate.
Local companies can also join the programme by hosting students for internships, allowing them to incorporate staff in the qualification process and adjust profiles to the real needs of the local productive fabric.
