The programme of Noctaíra 2026 incorporates La Harinera del Guadaíra as a new performance space from this week, with summer hours starting at 10:00 PM.
The last week of July brings new developments to the Noctaíra 2026 programme in Alcalá de Guadaíra. The cultural cycle debuts a new venue, La Harinera del Guadaíra, and adjusts its timings to adapt to summer, with all activities starting at 10:00 PM.
This space, which joins the usual locations of the programme, will host shows aimed at the whole family. The first event will be on Wednesday, 29 July, featuring the company Escena Trece and their play 'Imaginando El Quijote', a proposal that brings the universe of Don Quixote closer through humour and theatre. Admission will be free until capacity is reached.
On Tuesday, 28 July, at 10:00 PM, one of the most anticipated activities returns: the theatrical route 'Buscando a Oz'. This immersive experience, held every Tuesday in July and August in the Parque del Dragón, transforms the sandy paths of the Riberas del Guadaíra into the yellow brick road of the classic 'The Wizard of Oz'. Groups of up to one hundred spectators can enjoy this theatrical adventure that adapts the story to the landscape and natural heritage of Alcalá.
Noctaíra 2026, which celebrates ten years of lighting up the nights of the town, has received a great response in its first month. With the addition of La Harinera and the new summer schedule, the programme aims to offer unique cultural experiences in distinctive spaces of the city, establishing itself as one of the major summer events in the province.
Those interested can check the complete programme on the municipal website, where all planned activities for the coming weeks are detailed.
