The tenth edition of Noctaíra continues to draw crowds with concerts by Judit Neddermann, the play 'Victoria Kent', and flamenco recital by Antonio Núñez 'El Pulga'.
The tenth edition of Noctaíra, the cultural and tourist programme that transforms summer nights in Alcalá de Guadaíra, has once again demonstrated its popular appeal. The latest scheduled performances have gathered numerous locals and visitors, solidifying the event as one of the major summer attractions in the province of Seville.
Alcalá Castle was the chosen venue for Judit Neddermann's performance, a singer-songwriter, composer, and guitarist. Her proposal, which fuses folklore, pop, and jazz, captivated the audience with its intimacy and artistic quality. Neddermann, one of the most recognised voices in the current music scene, offered an intimate evening that connected with the attendees.
In the same venue, theatre took over with the performance of 'Victoria Kent', presented by the Arteporelarte company. The play, which addresses the figure of the Málaga-born politician and jurist during her exile, moved the audience. The production champions the memory of one of the pioneering women in recent history and the value of friendship against oblivion.
Flamenco, as is tradition in Noctaíra, featured prominently in the third event of the week at the San Miguel Centre. Antonio Núñez 'El Pulga' delivered a recital full of authenticity and emotion, showcasing his artistic personality and the strength of his art. The large audience welcomed the cantaor with great enthusiasm.
The delegate for Tourism and Culture, Christopher Rivas, has positively evaluated the public's response. In a press release, he highlighted that Noctaíra demonstrates, edition after edition, that culture is "one of the great attractions of summer". Rivas emphasised that "the variety and quality of the programming, along with the value of the heritage spaces that host it, ensure that each activity gathers a large audience and contributes to revitalising the city during the summer months".

The programme will continue over the coming weeks, offering new cultural and tourist activities for all audiences, combining quality shows with the enhancement of some of the city's most unique heritage spaces.
The next event will be on Tuesday, July 28, with 'Buscando a Oz' in the Dragon Park at 10:00 PM. On Wednesday, July 29, at the Harinera del Guadaíra, the Family Theatre programme will be inaugurated with the performance of 'Imaginando al Quijote' by the Escena 13 company, also at 10:00 PM.
Noctaíra has become a cultural reference in the province of Seville, attracting a diverse audience seeking to enjoy music, theatre, and flamenco in unique settings. The initiative not only revitalises the local economy but also highlights the rich historical heritage of Alcalá de Guadaíra.
