The second phase of the redevelopment of Malasmañanas street reaches its final stretch with asphalting, allowing its use pending furniture and gardening. The third phase continues to progress.
The mayor of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Ana Isabel Jiménez, and the delegate of Urban Habitat, David Delgado, have visited the redevelopment works on Malasmañanas street, a project divided into three phases with a budget exceeding 2.8 million euros.
The works are advancing in the second phase, which will soon enter its final stretch with asphalting. This action will allow the road to be used, pending the completion of furniture and gardening works.
The third phase, which spans from Joaquín Hazañas to its junction with Esteban Domínguez street, continues to progress as planned.
“When it is completely finished, Malasmañanas will be a new urban space designed for people, to walk, meet, and enjoy our city. A place for coexistence and to continue making Alcalá a friendlier city.”
The project will transform the street into a more orderly and accessible space, promoting coexistence, commercial activity, and urban quality. Once the second phase is completed, residents will be able to use the road while the finishing touches on furniture and gardening are completed.
