The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council has opened the grant application process for health projects by social entities, with a total allocation of 55,000 euros. The application deadline is July 23.
The Alcalá de Guadaíra City Council has launched a new grant call aimed at health projects driven by local social entities. The total amount is 55,000 euros, an increase of over 10,000 euros compared to previous editions due to the success of participation and the positive impact on the population.
The Health Delegate, Lidia Ballesteros, explained that this line of aid aims to “promote the development of local and community action policies in health matters.” Interested entities can submit their applications until July 23, through the municipal electronic headquarters.
Ballesteros highlighted the “strong commitment of the Government Team to this social area that is so important for people's lives.” The delegate praised “the involvement of Alcalá entities working for the well-being of the population from a health perspective, to reduce the effects of diseases, provide information, advice, therapies, and promote healthy habits.”
The grants are aimed at financing initiatives that promote health education and protection, with special attention to vulnerable groups. Eligible actions include physical activity programs, accident prevention, healthy eating, and healthy lifestyle habits. Personnel and organizational expenses are also covered, according to the general rules of the call.
The budget increase compared to previous years is due to the positive reception these aids have received among local entities. According to municipal sources, demand has been increasing, prompting the City Council to reinforce the financial allocation to respond to a greater number of projects.
The complete rules of the call are available on the City Council's website, in the Health section. The processing of applications is done electronically through the municipal electronic headquarters, a step that the City Council recommends starting in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
For social entities in Alcalá de Guadaíra, this call represents an opportunity to obtain funding and continue their work in the health and welfare field. Delegate Ballesteros encouraged associations to participate, reminding them that “the City Council supports this work with actions and direct aid.”
The application submission deadline is July 23, so interested entities must prepare the necessary documentation well in advance. All information is available on the official channels of the City Council.
