Mayor Ana Isabel Jiménez participated in the Extremaduran Community Day celebration at the Casa de Extremadura, highlighting the cultural brotherhood.
The mayor of Alcalá de Guadaíra, Ana Isabel Jiménez, accompanied by members of the Government Team, attended the coexistence celebration organised by the Casa de Extremadura on the occasion of September 8, Extremaduran Community Day. The event served to celebrate the bonds that unite the people of Alcalá with those from Extremadura for over three decades.
Jiménez emphasised "the coexistence and brotherhood among citizens from all territories in Alcalá, especially with the people from Extremadura for more than 30 years." During her speech, she highlighted that "coexistence among towns and communities always enriches society, generating exchanges of knowledge and experiences that strengthen collective thinking and make it more plural, wise, and harmonious."

The mayor cited as "an example of this enrichment the numerous people from Extremadura who, in their day, came to our city and who for so many years have contributed and continue to contribute their wisdom, culture, and tradition."
The entity, which has been in Alcalá de Guadaíra since 1991, celebrated the start of its annual activities with this event. The Casa de Extremadura has the support of the City Council for its events and exhibitions, and is located in the municipal building on Avenida de Portugal, next to the Guadaíra Park and River. The gathering brought together residents from both origins in a festive atmosphere that reinforces the integration of the Extremaduran community in the locality.
