The Ministry of Agriculture has published the first list of beneficiaries of the fertiliser purchase aid. Farmers in Lebrija must accept the subsidy before July 27 to avoid losing it.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has announced the first list of beneficiaries of the fertiliser purchase aid for 2026. These subsidies, assigned automatically to the holders of agricultural operations who declared crops in the CAP, require an essential step to become effective: explicit acceptance by the farmer.
In Lebrija, where the primary sector is one of the economic engines, the City Council has already begun to disseminate information among professionals in the field. The deadline to complete the procedure expires on July 27, 2026, and the Council insists on the need not to delay the management.
How to find out if you are a beneficiary
To check if you are on the list, interested parties must access the website of the Spanish Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEGA) and enter their ID number. There, they can download the complete list and verify the amount assigned. The direct link is available on the electronic headquarters of the agency.
The process is simple but requires a digital certificate. Acceptance is done entirely online through the FEGA headquarters. For legal entities, the procedure must be carried out with the company’s certificate. Individuals, on the other hand, can authorise UGAM COAG to manage the acceptance on their behalf, for which they must sign an authorisation and attach a photocopy of their ID.
Commitments upon accepting the aid
Accepting the subsidy implies taking on a series of commitments outlined in the Royal Decree 1051/2022. The beneficiary is obliged to have purchased or to purchase fertilisers after March 1, 2026, to use them exclusively for their operations, and to ensure that the quantities purchased are consistent with production objectives. Additionally, they must keep the invoices for 10 years and make them available to the Administration if requested, as well as allow verification of the records in the exploitation notebook.
The City Council of Lebrija reminds that the aid will not be paid if explicit acceptance is not completed before July 27. Therefore, they recommend reviewing the list as soon as possible and, if included, completing the procedure without delay. For Lebrijan farmers, who are facing a campaign marked by rising input costs, this aid represents significant economic relief.
The Ministry of Agriculture has planned that, after this first list, successive resolutions may be published to include new beneficiaries or correct possible errors. However, the acceptance deadline for this first batch is non-extendable. Farmers who have not been included this time will have to wait for future calls.
For any questions, the City Council of Lebrija has set up an information service through its agricultural offices, where advice on the procedure can be obtained. It is also recommended to consult the FEGA website, where all details of the aid are published.
