The former leader of Gabinete Caligari, Jaime Urrutia, will offer a concert in the Municipal Tent of Tomares at 00:30 on Thursday, September 3rd. The performance, with free entry, is part of the programming for the 2026 Feria.

The Feria de Tomares 2026 will kick off this Thursday, September 3rd with one of its main attractions: the performance of Jaime Urrutia, former vocalist of the band Gabinete Caligari, who will arrive in the municipality as part of his tour across Spain. The concert will take place at 00:30 in the Municipal Tent, with free entry until capacity is reached.

Urrutia, regarded as one of the essential names in Spanish rock from the 80s, will revisit in Tomares the hits that made his group a generational phenomenon: Cuatro Rosas, Al calor del amor en un bar, La culpa fue del cha-cha-chá, and Camino Soria. Songs from his solo career, which began in 2002, will also feature.

This event comes after previous editions of the Feria de Tomares have seen other names from the Madrid scene such as Los Secretos, Danza Invisible, La Guardia, and Mikel Erentxun. Urrutia's concert is one of the most anticipated performances in the programme, alongside Siempre Así (Friday 4th), David Civera, and Peterpunk & The Diablo Band (Saturday 5th).

The Thursday night will kick off at 21:00 with the Caseta Contest, which will award the best-decorated tent of the fair. From 21:30, the Sugar Orchestra will entertain the Municipal Tent, and at 23:00, the local group Serva Labari will take the stage with rumbas, flamenquito, and sevillanas. After Jaime Urrutia's performance, the Sugar Orchestra will close the day from 2:00.

The Feria programme continues on Friday 4th with the XII Rice Contest at 12:00, tasting at 14:30, and award ceremony at 16:00. In the evening, in addition to the Sugar Orchestra, Belén de los Reyes will perform at 22:30 and Siempre Así at 00:00. On Saturday 5th, Ely Silva (15:30), Agustele (22:00), David Civera (23:30), and Peterpunk & The Diablo Band (01:30) will take the stage. On Sunday 6th, there will be a children's gala at 13:00 and free pizza for children at 14:00.
