The Da. Te Danza Teatro company brings its children's show to the Rafael de León Municipal Auditorium this Saturday, October 17, at 12:00, as part of the "A World of Children" cycle.
At 12:00 on Saturday, October 17, the Rafael de León Municipal Auditorium will host the dance and theatre performance "What is my name...?" by the Da. Te Danza Teatro company. The show is part of the new 2026-27 season of the "A World of Children" cycle, organised by the Tomares City Council.
The performance is directed by Omar Meza and Rosa Díaz, and has received the Fetén 2015 Award for best children's show and the FITC 2016 Award in Bucharest for best dancer. It is presented in collaboration with the Andalusian Theatre Network and is designed for family audiences from 2 years old.
The story proposes a game in which a sofa becomes a train, a carpet a mirror, and a mountain of grass moves. According to the synopsis, the language of movement, combined with light and music, captivates the young audience without resorting to superficial effects. The search for the protagonist's name serves to discuss identity and childhood, in which, according to the play itself, labels do not matter.
For residents of Tomares, the price depends on their situation: 2 euros for registered residents, 4 euros for the general public, and free entry for children under 5 years. Tickets can be purchased online on the tomaresticket.com platform or through Giglon, and also at the auditorium box office from two hours before the performance.
Seating is limited, so it is advisable to reserve in advance. More information can be found on the tomares.es website and on the social media channels of the Tomares City Council.
