The Castilleja de la Cuesta Fair 2026 will take place from September 17 to 20 with seven free concerts, including Los del Río, David Bustamante and Siempre Así.
The Sevillian municipality of Castilleja de la Cuesta will celebrate its Fair 2026 from September 17 to 20, featuring a musical programme that includes seven free concerts. The lineup, presented by the mayor, Carmen Herrera, and the delegate for Festivities, Antonio de la Rosa, brings together artists from pop, sevillanas, flamenco-pop, and Cádiz carnival.
The eighth edition of this fair will kick off on Thursday, September 17 with a performance by La Chirigota del Bizcocho, winner of the Carnival of Cádiz, who will open the nights with their humour and carnival repertoire.
On Friday, September 18, Siempre Así, a key group in Andalusian music and sevillanas, will take the stage, followed by a joint performance by Junior and La Flaka, who will bring rhythm to the early hours.
Saturday, September 19, will feature two major highlights: Los del Río, creators of the worldwide hit Macarena, and David Bustamante, who will review some of the greatest hits of his career.
The grand finale on Sunday, September 20, will be provided by Mujeres por Sevillanas, a tribute to the genre from a female perspective, and La Guardia, a legendary band of Spanish pop-rock.
The mayor has emphasised the family-friendly nature of the event, which will feature a dozen food stalls where local restaurateurs will offer dishes, tapas, and drinks. There will also be a youth tent for boys and girls aged 12 to 16 with video games, interactive games, and inflatable mattresses, as well as an area with bouncy castles and rides for the little ones and a childcare service during the concerts.
Carmen Herrera has highlighted that the City Council “reinforces its commitment to providing an open, participatory, and quality Fair, with free performances designed for the enjoyment of all citizens and those visiting the municipality during those days.”
Residents and visitors will be able to enjoy all performances at no cost, making this event one of the most anticipated in the festive calendar of the Aljarafe.
