The La Rinconada Town Hall has hired a private security company to monitor parks and the three municipal swimming pools during the summer, with a budget of 100,000 euros.

The La Rinconada Town Hall has launched a special security operation for the summer months that includes the hiring of private guards in public parks and at the three municipal swimming pools. This measure, which is repeated every year, has a budget of around 100,000 euros funded by the town hall's own resources.

The guards, hired through a security company, have the primary mission of preventing vandalism in the municipality's green areas and ensuring compliance with municipal ordinances, especially regarding noise. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Local Police to prevent disturbances and maintain public order.

The delegate for Citizen Security, Francisco José Rodríguez, visited the service personnel at La Jira park, accompanied by the chief local police inspector, Alberto Herrera. Rodríguez highlighted the "commitment of this municipality to security" and explained that "in summer there is a lot of activity in the green areas of the locality, and we want to ensure that coexistence between citizens and the environment is appropriate, thus improving the quality of life for residents."

The surveillance will also extend to the entire urban scene, not just the parks. The private security agents will be in constant contact with the Local Police to act in a coordinated manner in the event of any incident. The programme is funded by the Citizen Security and Sports departments.

This initiative aims to provide a more peaceful summer for the residents of La Rinconada, who can enjoy the municipal swimming pools and green spaces with a greater sense of security. The reinforcement of surveillance will be maintained throughout the summer season.
