La Rinconada opens registrations for the Red Creajoven Festival in October

The Youth Department of La Rinconada is looking for young creators for the new edition of the Red Creajoven Festival, which will take place on 24 and 25 October. Registrations are open until 14 August.

The Youth Department of the La Rinconada Town Hall has opened the registration period to participate in the new edition of the Red Creajoven Festival, which will be held on 24 and 25 October. Young creatives who want to showcase their work and promote themselves for free can register until 14 August.

The Youth Delegate, Mercedes Bueno, has encouraged all creators in the municipality to participate: “This is a space to showcase the talent of our youth, so I encourage them to participate so that the public can get to know their work, creations, and projects in a dedicated space.” Bueno also requested that the call be shared among friends, shops, brands, artisans, and creators, and reminded that “we will have a space for them and the sale of their products for free.”

The festival will bring together art, dance, culture, and music, with exhibitions and a craft area where artisans can display and sell their work. There will be a stage for urban dance, flamenco, or k-pop, concerts of rock, pop, hip hop, or rap battles, and a family area with workshops and board games.

The artistic modalities in which one can participate, either individually or in groups, include music, dance, graffiti, crafts, photography, theatre, painting, skateboarding, and tattooing, although the department is open to any other artistic proposal.

The delegate attached to the Youth Department, Minerva Calderón, highlighted that “CreaJoven is an event that the Youth Department works on throughout the year alongside young creators who bring their proposals and improvements, making this festival better each year.”
