The town closes the first round of swimming classes at its three municipal pools, with the presentation of diplomas. The second round starts on August 4.

The municipal pools of Guillena, Torre de la Reina, and Las Pajanosas have concluded this Friday the first round of their swimming courses, which began on July 1. A total of 380 students have participated in the classes, held in morning and afternoon sessions, and received their diplomas at the closing ceremonies held today.

The second round will begin on August 4 and will run until the end of the swimming season, scheduled for September 4. Classes will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, except on public holidays, with the same range of levels: babies, children, beginners, advanced, seniors, pensioners, and aquagym.

The three facilities, which opened their doors on June 19, also offer free swimming from Tuesday to Sunday. With this programme, the municipality maintains summer activities in its pools, which have become a reference point for local residents during the hot months.

For those interested in the second round, registration takes place at the municipal pools themselves. The season will conclude on September 4, when the facilities will close until next summer.
