The agreement, signed at the Town Hall of Guillena, will allow for the development of joint training, technical and sports promotion activities, and will bring the Caja87 first team closer to the young people of the municipality.

The Club Baloncesto Guillena and Caja87 Baloncesto have sealed a collaboration agreement to promote the practice of this sport in the municipality and strengthen the training of young players. The agreement was formalised on Thursday morning in the plenary hall of the Town Hall of Guillena.

Representing Caja87 was Raúl Pérez, Head of Institutional Relations, while the local club was represented by its president, Cristóbal Moreno. The Councillor for Sports of Guillena, Manuel Vázquez, also participated in the event.

The agreement establishes a stable framework for organising tournaments, camps, sports days and training activities aimed at both players and coaches. One of the key focuses will be the promotion of young talents from the municipality and their contact with high-level basketball.

The collaboration includes a calendar of joint activities that will bring to Guillena initiatives linked to the Caja87 first team, such as visits from its players, clinics and other training actions. In addition, members of the Guillena club will be able to participate in the matches that the Seville team plays in the capital.

The agreement also includes special conditions for members of the Club Deportivo Baloncesto Guillena when purchasing season tickets and tickets for Caja87 matches. Among the planned actions is the celebration of an exclusive day dedicated to the Guillena club during one of the home games played by the first team.

For Caja87, this alliance reinforces its commitment to grassroots basketball and to creating a network of collaboration with clubs and municipalities in the province of Seville. The organisation believes that the growth of a sports project must be linked to training and strengthening grassroots structures.

From the Club Baloncesto Guillena and the Town Hall of Guillena, the agreement is seen as a step towards consolidating sports as a tool for training, coexistence and healthy habits among the young people of the municipality.
