The Sevillian town of Guillena will experience one of its major days on September 8 with the morning procession of its Patroness, Our Lady of the Granada. The channel 101 TV Sevilla has confirmed that it will broadcast the route live from 10:00 until the collection of the image.
This initiative will allow residents who cannot physically accompany the Virgin through the streets of the municipality to follow every step of the procession from their homes. The broadcast will cover not only the route but also everything surrounding this festive day for Guillena.
As a prelude, on the night of Monday, September 7, starting at 23:30, the channel will air an audiovisual piece dedicated to the Virgen de la Granada, along with several interviews related to the devotion and tradition of this festivity.
The broadcast is presented as a way to bring the tradition of September 8 closer to the homes of the residents of Guillena who, for various reasons, will not be able to go out to accompany their Patroness on her big day.
