The CMIM programme, free and funded by the Junta, offers recreational and educational activities over four fortnights for children aged 8 to 12.
The Town Hall of Morón de la Frontera, through the Municipal Centre for Women's Information (CMIM), has launched the third edition of its Reconciliation Schools, a summer programme that combines leisure, sport, and education with the aim of facilitating family and work reconciliation during the holidays.
The initiative will take place over four fortnights: from 29 June to 14 July, from 15 to 31 July, from 3 to 18 August, and from 19 August to 4 September. It is aimed at children aged 8 to 12, with free registration.
One of the main venues will be the Municipal Pool, where children will engage in aquatic activities, although the programme goes beyond just fun. Through participatory dynamics and the daily work of the monitors, values such as equality, respect, coexistence, co-education, peaceful conflict resolution, and violence prevention are promoted.
The registration period usually opens in May. The activity is funded by the Junta de Andalucía, through the Ministry of Equality, Social Policies and Reconciliation, and is managed by the CMIM itself.
With this initiative, the Morón Town Hall reinforces its commitment to equality policies and aims to provide families with a resource that supports both the personal development of children and the organisation of family life in summer.
