A 36-year-old man has died on Sunday afternoon in a farmhouse in Estepa. A woman has been arrested and the Judicial Police is investigating the events.
The Estepa Town Hall has confirmed the violent death of a 36-year-old man in a farmhouse located on the outskirts of the municipality, within the municipal term of Estepa. The events occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, August 16, around 3:00 PM.
The Local Police informed the mayor, Antonio Jesús Muñoz, of what had happened, who was briefed on the ongoing investigation. A woman has been arrested and is being held for the investigation, awaiting judicial proceedings.
The Judicial Police has taken charge of the inquiries to clarify the exact circumstances of the death. The Town Hall is asking for patience and trust in the work of the security forces, so they can rigorously determine what happened.
The Town Hall has expressed its deep sorrow over the incident and has called for a minute of silence in condemnation of this violent act. It will take place on Thursday, August 20 at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall building, in Plaza del Carmen, 1 in Estepa.
