Sevilla FC faces the summer transfer market with the need to offload four players who are not part of the sporting plans: Tanguy Nianzou, Joan Jordán, Rafa Mir, and Federico Gattoni.

Sevilla FC is facing a summer of complicated decisions in the transfer market. The sporting management has on the table the need to find a place for four players who are not counted on by the coaching staff: Tanguy Nianzou, Joan Jordán, Rafa Mir, and Federico Gattoni. All of them have high salaries and little prominence in recent seasons, making their departure a priority to lighten the wage bill.

The Nervión club knows that freeing up these salaries is key to being able to tackle new signings. According to internal sources, the goal is to reduce spending on wages and open up space within the salary cap imposed by LaLiga. However, the market does not seem straightforward for any of the four.

Nianzou, a centre-back burdened by injuries

The case of Tanguy Nianzou is the most complex. The French defender arrived at Sevilla from Bayern Munich with a reputation as a great promise, but continuous injuries have prevented him from gaining continuity. His high salary and long-term contract complicate any operation.

Sevilla prioritises a departure, whether in the form of a transfer or a loan. So far, no club has shown firm interest. Sources close to the player suggest that a loan would be the most realistic option, although the club does not rule out waiting for a purchase offer.

Joan Jordán seeks a new destination

Joan Jordán is another name that is strongly linked with an exit. The midfielder has been losing importance in the team in recent campaigns and is no longer part of the coach's plans. His experience in the top division remains valuable, but his salary is an obstacle for many interested clubs.

A loan again seems to be the most plausible alternative, although Sevilla would prefer a transfer that brings in revenue. The club has already received some inquiries, but no concrete offers. Jordán's situation reflects the difficulty of relocating players with high contracts in a tight market.

Rafa Mir, a forward without a profile

Rafa Mir returns to Sevilla after his loan, but his future remains uncertain. The Murcian forward has had inconsistent performances in recent seasons, which has reduced his market value. The club seeks a definitive solution, whether a transfer or a new loan.

His departure would free up an important salary and open space for a new offensive reinforcement. However, the market does not offer many options. Sevilla is willing to listen to offers, but so far, no proposal has convinced the parties.

Gattoni, the defender who had no opportunities

Federico Gattoni completes the list of discards. The Argentine defender has barely had minutes since his arrival, and the club believes it is best to find him a new destination. A loan seems to be the most likely option, although Sevilla does not rule out a transfer if an interesting offer comes in.

Gattoni arrived with expectations but has not managed to adapt to Spanish football. His departure is one of the most feasible, given that his salary is lower than the other three. Several second division clubs have shown interest, but nothing is finalised yet.

The sporting management of Sevilla knows that resolving these cases is essential to strengthen the team. Each day that passes without an exit, the margin for manoeuvre decreases. The club hopes that the market will activate in the coming weeks, but for now, the outlook is uncertain.

For Sevilla fans, this situation is not new. Every summer, the same problem recurs: players with high salaries who are not counted on and are difficult to relocate. Patience is running thin, and the fans hope that this time the management can find quick solutions so that the team can compete at the highest level.
