The youth goalkeeper of Sevilla FC has broken his silence on social media following rumours of his departure from the club. His message comes as the club negotiates the signing of Fran González.

The Sevilla goalkeeper Alberto Flores has used his social media to send a message of calm and commitment amid speculation about his future. "With the same enthusiasm as the first day," the youth player wrote on July 25, in a post that many interpret as a statement of intent.

The message arrives at a particularly delicate moment for the young goalkeeper. Sevilla FC is well advanced in negotiations to acquire the services of Fran González, goalkeeper of Real Madrid Castilla, which would leave Flores without a place in the first team and pointing towards a loan.

Flores' good performance in the friendly against Córdoba, where he saved a penalty and left a great impression, has not been enough to change the plans of the sporting management. The club, led by José Ignacio Navarro, has decided to strengthen the goalkeeping position with an external profile, leaving the youth player in a complicated position.

The planning of Sevilla in goalkeeping is very defined. Odysseas Vlachodimos will be the starter after returning from his loan at Newcastle. The second goalkeeper expected is Fran González, with whom a personal agreement has already been reached and negotiations with Real Madrid are advanced. His arrival, considered a priority, would push Flores to a third position that does not guarantee playing time.

In light of this situation, the club wants the youth player to go out on loan to Segunda División or Primera RFEF to continue growing. With a contract until 2027, Sevilla values his potential but prioritises regular competition away from Nervión. The operation for González is very advanced and, if finalised, will unlock Flores' departure.

Flores' message reflects the situation: intact enthusiasm, constant work, and a future that will depend on the final market movements. The youth player "raises his hand" and demonstrates professionalism while the club seeks minutes for him elsewhere.

For Sevilla fans, the possible departure of Flores represents a loss of talent from the youth academy, but the club trusts that a loan will allow him to mature and return with more experience. Meanwhile, the transfer market continues its course, and the arrival of Fran González is expected to be finalised in the coming days.
