The Utrera Town Hall intensifies cleaning, sanitation, and the setup of infrastructure at the fairgrounds. The works include ornamental lighting and the installation of the Municipal Booth and the CECOP.
The Utrera Town Hall has launched the final stretch of preparations for the Fair and Festivals of Our Lady of Consolation 2026, which will begin in a month. The municipal teams are already working on general cleaning and conditioning of the fairgrounds, aiming to have everything ready for the celebration.
Among the most relevant actions is the sanitation of the sewage network, a preventive measure to avoid incidents during peak attendance days. The delegate for Works and Infrastructure, J. Antonio López León, has stated that “these are fundamental actions to ensure that the fairgrounds can face the busiest days in the best conditions.”
The setup of the Municipal Booth and the Operational Coordination Centre (CECOP) has also begun, from which the security and emergency device will be coordinated during the fair. This centre will be key to managing any incidents that may arise in the venue.
Meanwhile, the installation of ornamental lighting continues both in the fairgrounds and on the Paseo de Consolación, one of the main accesses to the fair. The lighting works will be progressively completed in the coming weeks.
The Utrera Town Hall is also working on the setup of booth structures, the placement of awnings on those that have already completed their structure, and the maintenance of green areas and trees. All municipal departments coordinate these tasks, which will intensify as the start of the festival approaches.
With these works, the Utrera council aims to ensure that the fairgrounds are in optimal condition to welcome the thousands of visitors who come to the town each year. The Utrera Fair 2026 will kick off in mid-September, as is tradition, and will feature a wide range of activities.
